Good News: With 9-10” of rain reported during the month of June, everything is green and growing well, including soil and plant fungi. There is no need to water or use any irrigation for the next few weeks, so you can save on your water bill.
Bad News: Fungus can attack turfgrass plants (see below) and cause temporary discoloration. Brown patch, dollar spot, red thread and gray leaf spot have all been active since the monsoons began back in mid-June. Not to worry, however, as service calls are always free and our trained specialists can answer any questions you have concerning these brown spots.
