Year to date rainfall totals are 15.0 inches and a normal year is 12.16 inches. Could we please push some of this rain into July and August when our plants need the moisture?
Our route managers expect a few rainy days every spring but we have already lost ten work days to Mother Nature and our May 1 crabgrass germination deadline is right around the corner.
Please be patient with our crews – we promise to have all of your pre-emergent crabgrass products and fungicides for apple scab applied within the next two weeks.
